The Lubinus Clinicum is a privately owned hospital specializing in orthopaedic surgery which a worldwide reputation for the development of endoprothesis (founded in 1895) and spine instrumentations. The modern surgery and orthopaedic centre is equipped with an intensive care unit and fully standard radiology department and also an out patients' department.

Inside the building there are further clinics with specialist physicians as well as a recognized centre for physiotherapy. The integrated school for physiotherapy has an excellent reputation throughout Germany.
